Statistical observation on in-Patients(1968~1977)

Abstract
|
|
|
Statistical observation was made on 1752 in-patients in the department of Urology, Chung Ang University, School of Medicine during the period from June 10, 1968 through March 31, .1978.
1. Among 1798 cases of in-patients, 1147 cases were male and 605 cases were female with a ratio of 2 : 1.
2. Most common diseases were urolithiasis (29.8%), tumor (14. 1%), pyelonephritis (12.6%) and tuberculosis (6.8%) in order.
3. Operation was done in 1067 cases. Nephrectomy (19.4%) was the most common operation, ureterolithotomy (19.3%), suprapubic prostatectomy (4.5%) in order.
